Fayose Clears Air on “Stomach infrastructure”
Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Ayodele Fayose has explained that the "Stomach infrastructure" policy initiated by his administration goes beyond mere distribution of food stuff and money as being misrepresented by dissidents. "It is a programme strategically designed to banish poverty from Ekiti and make life more abundant for the entire citizens, particularly, the vulnerable, aged and the less privileged", the governor clarified. Fayose made the clarification in his office in Ado-Ekiti while receiving a delegation of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs who were in the state for a one-day sensitization campaign against Trafficking in persons and child abuse. The Governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Kolapo Olusola said that it was the "stomach Infrastructure" policy which the government implemented during his first tenure in office which endeared him to the people and sustain their love for him till date because every citizen then had easy access...
