APC Primaries: voting ends, counting to commence

Voting has ended at the All Progressives Congress (APC) convention to produce a presidential flagbearer of the party.
The exercise commenced at about 2am Thursday with delegates casting their votes on state by state basis.
Sorting of ballots is presently ongoing while counting is expected to commence soon.

Facebook Fraud: EKSU VC Has No Facebook Account

The attention of the Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has been drawn to an impostor using the name of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina on social media, Face Book. The fraudulent personality created a Facebook account using one of the official photographs of the Vice-Chancellor and supplied incorrect information about Professor Oladipo Aina to mislead the public. The fake Facebook account has already attracted a long list of friends who might be deceived with the impression that they are dealing with the authentic Vice-Chancellor of EKSU, Professor Oladipo Aina. Tambuwal’s Security Details Withdrawn by FG

The security details attached to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has been reportedly withdrawn by the Federal Government. It was gathered by Daily Trust that the security details were withdrawn in the early hours of this morning. "Early this morning, few minutes after midnight to be precise, top level security report informed the Speaker that orders have been given for the withdrawal of his security details," a source said. Tambuwal, as speaker, is entitled to high-level security made up of men from the police, Civil Defence Corps and the Department of State Service (DSS). Tambuwal had on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, formally announced his defection from the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
